Simplicalcs

    Works offline

Every calculator on Simplicalcs works without an internet connection once you've visited the site. The first time you load any page, your browser saves everything it needs to run the tools locally. After that, the connection is optional.

You can also save Simplicalcs to your home screen so it opens like an app — no browser chrome, no address bar, straight to the calculator.

    Save to your home screen

    1. 1 iPhone / iPad Open Simplicalcs in Safari. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing upward.
    2. 2 iPhone / iPad Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. Tap Add in the top right. Done.
    3. 1 Android Open Simplicalcs in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
    4. 2 Android Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app if Chrome offers it). Tap Add to confirm.
    5. 1 Desktop In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon in the address bar — it appears as a small monitor with a downward arrow. Click it and follow the prompt. On other browsers, use the menu to find Install or Add to Desktop.

Once installed, Simplicalcs opens in its own window without the browser interface. It will continue to work offline, and updates happen automatically in the background the next time you're connected.

    What works offline

All calculators work offline. Every calculation runs in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, so a connection is never needed for the maths. The tool search in the header also works offline. The only thing that requires a connection is loading a page you haven't visited before.
